eterlearnlearn it. forever.

Effective date: 8 May 2026 Last updated: 8 May 2026

By accessing or using eterlearn, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These terms are written plainly — if something is unclear, email contact@eterlearn.com.

1. What eterlearn is

eterlearn is an educational tool that generates AI-powered explanations of content you provide and offers a Socratic tutoring experience to help you test and deepen your understanding.

eterlearn is:

  • A learning aid, not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise)
  • Powered by AI, which means outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
  • Not currently a commercial product with guaranteed uptime or support

2. Who can use eterlearn

eterlearn is open to anyone. An account is required to use the service.

If you create an account, you confirm that:

  • The email address you provide is yours
  • You will keep your login credentials secure
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

3. What you can and cannot do

You can:

  • Use eterlearn for personal learning, study, research, and education
  • Share session URLs with others
  • Use eterlearn as a student, teacher, professional, or curious person

You cannot:

  • Submit content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, or that violates anyone's rights
  • Submit content containing someone else's personal information without their consent
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the service, or use it in ways that impose unreasonable load
  • Use eterlearn to generate content intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from eterlearn
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or resell eterlearn or its outputs as a standalone product
  • Use eterlearn to train AI models or build competing services

4. Content you submit

You own your content. Submitting content to eterlearn does not transfer ownership to us.

You are responsible for your content. By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to submit it
  • It does not violate any law or third-party rights
  • It does not contain confidential information you are not authorized to share

We do not claim rights to your content. We use it only to provide the service — to generate your explanation and power your tutoring session. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Important: Content you submit is processed by Anthropic's API. See our Privacy Policy for details. Do not submit content you are not authorized to share outside your organization.

5. AI-generated content

Explanations and tutoring responses are generated by AI (Anthropic's Claude models). This means:

  • Outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading
  • eterlearn is not a reliable source for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or professional advice
  • You should verify important information from authoritative sources
  • The AI may occasionally produce outputs that are unhelpful, repetitive, or off-topic

Use your judgment. eterlearn is a learning aid, not an oracle.

6. The service is currently free and provided as-is

eterlearn is currently offered at no cost. This may change in the future with reasonable notice to users.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind — express, implied, or otherwise. Specifically, we make no warranty that:

  • The service will be available at any particular time
  • Outputs will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose
  • The service will be free of bugs or errors

To the maximum extent permitted by law, eterlearn and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Rate limits and fair use

To keep eterlearn usable for everyone, rate limits apply to all signed-in users. If you hit a rate limit, you will see a clear message with a retry time.

Attempting to circumvent rate limits (through VPNs, multiple accounts, automated requests, or other means) is a violation of these terms and may result in a permanent ban.

8. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms, abuses the service, or engages in behavior that harms other users or the service itself.

You may close your account at any time by emailing contact@eterlearn.com. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

9. Intellectual property

The eterlearn name, logo, and original interface design are owned by eterlearn's creator(s). You may not use them without permission.

The underlying AI models are owned by Anthropic. The infrastructure services (Supabase, Vercel, Upstash) are owned by their respective companies.

Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to eterlearn's source code, design, or brand assets.

10. Third-party services

eterlearn integrates with third-party services including Anthropic, Supabase, Vercel, and Upstash. Your use of eterlearn means your data passes through these services as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify signed-in users by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of eterlearn after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
